Best Western announces major Thailand expansion

Best Western Hotels & Resorts, has signed a major deal for four huge new build hotels in Thailand, signalling its biggest ever expansion in the market.
 
BW has joined with real estate developer AD Houses Co Ltd for four properties with a combined 4,150 rooms.
 
The new hotels are the 500-key Best Western Plus AD Wongamart Pattaya, the Best Western Plus AD The Grand Jomtien Beach Pattaya with 1,400 rooms, Best Western Plus AD Bang Saray Lake and Resort (1,200 rooms) and Best Western Plus AD Hua Hin Lake and Resort (1,050 rooms).
 
"In addition to celebrating Best Western’s 70th birthday this year, 2016 also marks our 15th year of having a strong presence in Asia. I am thrilled to mark these milestones with the signing of such an important agreement," said Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ senior vice president of brand management, Ron Pohl.
 
Best Western has eight hotels open in the country with two V-«b hotels for Bangkok under development.
