Tour operators are also being offered discounted deals by the resort. A golf-spa package this winter that sells off the rack for $365, for example, is available to tour operators for $265. “Many hotel companies and hotels are trying to break away from tour operators and travel agents, but we want to embrace them and be partners with them,” Mr Rodriguez, director of travel industry marketing, told TravelMole..
