Blue Bay Travel appoints Trade Support Team Leader

Blue Bay Travel has appointed Sunny Gill to the position of Trade Support Team Leader.

Gill joins on 27 June, replacing Tasha Smith, who left the business this month.

He will manage the Trade Support Team and be based at Blue Bay’s headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent.

Gill’s team deals with all aftersales queries and support for members of The Midcounties Co-operative’s Travel division, Your Co-op TravelCo-op Travel Consortium and The Personal Travel Agents

Gill will oversee the team.

Additionally, Gill will work with the team at Blue Bay to further grow the Blue Bay Hotels business, an accommodation-only service.

Gill oins Blue Bay from The Midcounties Co-operative, where he held a role as an online Virtual Branch Manager for Your Co-op Travel, managing a team of employed, Personal Travel Advisors.

Before Midcounties, Gill was a Store Manager for Kuoni in Birmingham, and Manager of two Virgin Holidays branches, one in the Midlands and the other in Hertfordshire.
