Bmi raises fuel surcharge
Bmi is the third airline in two days to announce an increase to its fuel surcharge.
The airline is increasing the charge from £2.50 to £6 per sector on its longhaul routes. Bmi operates six longhaul flights from Manchester to Chicago, Washington, Las Vegas, Barbados, Antigua and St Lucia.
The increase takes immediate effect. The fuel surcharge for shorthaul flights stays at £2.50 per sector for the time being.
