Book Early for 2008 Fly/Cruise Asian Escapes
P&O Cruises Australia has released great new Asian fly/cruise deals combining exotic seven-night cruises on Pacific Star sailing from Singapore with return flights from Australia, starting at $2228 per person*.
Pacific Star’s 2008 Asian cruise season features 21 cruises from Singapore between April and October, visiting a range of magical destinations throughout Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Sabah, Vietnam and Brunei.
The fly/cruise deals include return international economy airfares from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne or Adelaide, a seven-night Asian cruise on the 1350-passenger Pacific Star and transfers between the airport and ship on day of embarkation/disembarkation. Special Singapore hotel deals to stay on after the cruise are also available from $100 per person per night.
Following the success of P&O Cruises’ inaugural Asian season in 2006, the company has added enticing new ports of call to its traditional favourites for 2008, including Sihanoukville in ancient Cambodia and Hua Hin – the Thai royal family’s favourite holiday retreat.
Passengers will be able to choose between two seven-night itineraries – as featured in the new See Asia by Sea brochure – with both departing Singapore each Saturday, offering Australians a great one-week holiday option. Or passengers can combine both itineraries for a two-week Asian delight featuring 10 ports of call.
Pacific Star’s Western Tropics itinerary visits the bustling Malaysian city of Kuala Lumpur, historic Penang and Malacca, idyllic Langkawi Island and the exotic Thai resort town of Phuket. Meanwhile, the Eastern Sunsets itinerary will visit Thailand’s Koh Samui, Hua Hin, the thriving capital of Bangkok and Cambodia’s idyllic beach town of Sihanoukville, famous for its white sand beaches and warm waters.
Fares for a seven-night fly/cruise deal from Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney start at $2228* per person in a complete quad-share cabin with return economy flights, or $988* per person cruise only.
Fly/cruise offers are also available on Pacific Star’s re-positioning voyages between Australia and Singapore, with 19-night Asian Explorer cruises visiting Vietnam, Sabah, Brunei, Darwin and Cairns available from $3185 per person in a complete quad-share cabin, including one-way economy airfare.
The 35,000-ton Pacific Star offers four dining venues, three swimming pools, wide open decks, choice of queen or twin bed configurations in most cabins, three kids’ clubs, a fitness centre, casino, indulgent spa sanctuary and three whirlpool spas.
Bookings must be made by April 30, 2007. For more information or to make a booking contact a licensed travel agent or P&O Cruises on 13 2469, or visit http://www.pocruises.com.au or www.pocruises.com.au
