Bookings for Cyprus holidays surge
There has been a big spike in interest for holidays to Cyprus .Thomas Cook said search traffic for Cyprus was up by more than a quarter immediately after it said it would allow in fully vaccinated UK travellers. It found people were spending 40% longer on hotel pages.
TUI said it has seen ‘a real uptick in bookings.’ Most booking activity is for July and August, with very few in May so far, which is when Cyprus said Brits will be allowed in. People are currently forbidden from travelling overseas for holidays until at least 17 May.
