Bottoms up for luxury beer?
Here’s an unusual hotel offering to guzzle: The upscale Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa has a new “Microwave for Two Package” in connection with its new on-site microbrewery: GPI’s Great Gatsby Abbey Beer.
The package at the resort in Asheville, NC, offers midweek package prices for two starting at: $420 and weekend prices starting at $520.
Perks include a $100 gift card, discounts on golf and spa, and a free Ashville Brews Cruise Brewery Tour.
The name comes from celebrated author F. Scott Fitzgerald who wrote “The Great Gatsby” and considered The Grove Park Inn "home" during the summers of 1935 and 1936.
The beer is a cooperative effort between the resort and Highland, the city’s oldest legal brewery.
The Grove Park is a famous, four-diamond resort overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. Built in 1913, it is a member of various historical sites.
