A planned strike at Bournemouth Airport which was recently postponed is back on again.
A last minute improved offer was enough to suspend the initial strike but workers have also rejected this pay deal.
Now, airport workers represented by Unite are set to strike on four days.
The new strikes have the ‘full backing of the union; United said.
In response, Bournemouth Airport said it was ‘extremely disappointed industrial action had been threatened,’ and is now taking contingencies to deal with the expected disruption.
The walkout would affect baggage handling, check in functions, plane fueling and flight dispatching.
The new strike dates are 30 September, and 1, 16 and 17 October.
The workers had previously rejected a 5% increase in pay.
Bournemouth Airport said it made ‘significantly improved pay offers.’ It would continue to talk with the union, it said.
Passengers due to travel on the affected dates are urged to check with their airline for updates before travelling to the airport.
