Brilliant Travel continues to grow membership during peaks
Brilliant Travel is reporting continued interest in new membership throughout January for both home-based agents and Managed Service Travel Partners (MSTP).
The homeworking and MSTP division of the Barrhead Travel Group says that enquiries have continued this month despite the peak trading month.
Enquiries are predominantly from experienced agents looking to become business owners.
Brilliant Travel grew its homeworking specialist numbers by 60% during 2024 as well as welcoming new MSTP members.
So far in January, a further two MSTPs are currently being onboarded as well as another Brilliant Travel specialist – all expecting to be fully trading by February.
Linda Pyle, Brilliant Travel Director, said: We wouldn’t usually expect enquiries until after January peaks conclude but there’s clearly an appetite for change within the travel agent community.”
“For those enquiring to become a home-based Brilliant Travel specialist, we’re seeing well-established agents or travel professionals that are looking to take advantage of the current momentum for travel.”
“As has been the pattern for our MSTPs in recent years, it still seems to a blend of travel professionals and entrepreneurs who want to invest in an industry where spend continues to climb.”
In addition to increasing membership numbers, Brilliant Travel has also supported existing members to expand their retail operations with five MSTPs either opening additional locations or moving to larger premises in the last year.
“I think the fact that we’re seeing expansion both with existing members and welcoming new members and specialists is indicative of a healthy market,” Pyle added.
Brilliant Travel is welcoming applications for new members, particularly those with strong travel experience. [email protected]
