Bristol gains low fare French routes
Three new routes to France are to be started by Ryanair from Bristol next summer.
The no frills carrier is to serve Bergerac (Dordogne), Beziers (Languedoc) and Pau (Pyrenees Atlantique) from May 2008. Each destination will be served with three flights a week.
The move comes in advance of the carrier launching its 20th European base at Bristol airport in three weeks time
Ryanair expects to handle one million passengers on 20 routes from the airport in the first year of operations.
CEO Michael O’Leary said: “To celebrate these three new routes, we are releasing 50,000 seats from Bristol for £5 including taxes and we urge passengers to log onto www.ryanair.com immediately, as this offer must end at midnight on Monday (October 15).”
