Britannia livery on its way out
Holiday jets bearing the famous Britannia logo are set to be re-branded with the Thomson logo, even though the Britannia name and company will continue to exist.
The online news provider Ananova reports that 18 of the 31-strong fleet will be repainted by the end of this year, with the rest to follow in 2004.
Thomson Holidays managing director Chris Mottershead reportedly said: “Thomson is a very powerful brand and we need to maximise it. Our intention is to grow our flight-only business and we feel it is important to do this using the power of the Thomson brand.”
