British pensioner faces trial for groping flight attendant
A British pensioner accused of groping a flight attendant will face trial in France.
The man, 66, allegedly groped the cabin crew member during a Jet2 flight from Leeds to Alicante, Spain.
The flight was diverted to Nantes.
The unnamed passenger was described as ‘very drunk’
“He was in a seriously drunken state when he was handed over to border police,” prosecutor Renaud Gaudeul said.
Gaudeul said the man ‘admitted’ to the sexual assault.
He allegedly put his hand up the flight attendant’s skirt while drinks were served.
He was bailed but must return to face trial in a French courtroom on December 13.
