British women “jealous of foreigners” on beaches
Many British women heading for the beach are reportedly “jealous” of their foreign counterparts’ bodies, according to a survey.
The survey, carried out on behalf of the slimming firm Slim Fast, states that 45 per cent of British women saying their partners looked at foreign women on the beach because they had “better bodies”.
Italian women were deemed to be the biggest threat – 27 per cent of those interviewed identified them as a “threat”, with Swedish women not far behind on 21 per cent.
The online news provider Ananova, reporting the survey, states that one in five would sacrifice a promotion or a pay rise for a better “beach body”, and 21 per cent would rather sing karaoke in front of 100 strangers than strip down to their swimwear.
Some 27 per cent would reportedly rather give a speech at a wedding or ask a stranger out on a date, than do so.
