BritRail launches agent website for in-bound bookings

Thursday, 15 May, 2006 0

BritRail has launched a dedicated agent website to make it easier for small and medium sized agents outside the UK to book in-bound rail travel.

The site – www.agentbritrail.com – is only accessible to agents outside the UK, including those in the Irish Republic.

As an incentive to book online, the company is offering 10% commission instead of the usual 8% until May 31.

There are plans to launch a similar site for European rail travel at a later stage and this would be accessible for UK agents.

BritRail, a division of ACP Rail International, has an exclusive franchise from the railways of Britain to sell BritRail Passes and single journey tickets in all global markets outside the UK.

These also include London Visitor Travel Cards, CitySightseeing bus passes, sightseeing and dining cruises on the Thames, The Historic Royal Palaces Pass, and excursions to Paris.
