BTA organisers extend deadline after signing new media sponsor
The British Travel Awards has extended the deadline for registration to May 15 following its media partnership with Trinity Mirror Group.
BTA chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton said there has been a rush in last minute enquiries since the partnership was announced.
Trinity Mirror has five national newspapers and numerous regional titles both in print and online.
"Short listed travel companies will have an even wider and more diverse group of voters in Mirror Group readers," she added.
"Sponsors are also delighted that our advertising campaign which runs from when voting opens on 1 July until close on 30 September, will reach a larger, nationwide audience."
The award categories can be found at www.britishtravelawards.com on the category listing and criteria page.
