BusinessWeek: travel prices going up
Wanderlust is back and travel providers are gearing up for one of the most robust summer seasons in years, according to BusinessWeek Online.
Some companies even expect to hike prices, bringing a lift to profits,” it reported.
Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. was among those reported to be raising prices in response to the strong bookings. Hyatt Corporation “expects to start boosting rates by year end,” BusinessWeek said.
The bottom line for travelers: don’t count on getting a better deal by waiting, says the online service.
