Once again, the Catalan Tourist Board has the pleasure to announce the key event of the year tailored for professionals. Buy Catalonia 2010 is the essential scenario where leading Catalan tourist companies will be meeting over 150 European Tour Operators to share business knowledge and enjoy of a once-in-a-lifetime range of fam trips to choose from. It will be taking place from the 17th to the 22nd of May.
The Tour Operators taking part will be able to choose from an excellent and more than eleven fam trips which cover key segments like Hiking, Gastronomy, Family Destinations, Culture or Wellness, all of them of high interest and guided by the best professionals in the market. These will be taking place all over Catalonia, on the best quality-based venues.
This biannual multi-market event is the only one of its kind organised by a European Tourist Board, and it reinforces the leadership of Catalonia as the number one destination in the UK, with more than 2 million visitors a year.
Buy Catalonia unites professionals of the tourist sector from countries and markets which are strategically interesting for the development and continuity of Catalonia as an international leading destination. France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Germany, China, Russia and the Baltic countries will join British and Irish Tour Operators at a workshop where professionals will be able to exchange all their knowledge.
