CAA appoints new non-exec
The Civil Aviation Authority has appointed former a former commercial pilot as a new non-executive director for a four-year period.
Katherine Corich is an award-winning business leader with considerable experience of the aviation and IT sectors.
She is founder and chairman of management consultancy Sysdoc and has worked with private and public sector organisations internationally to deliver efficiency programmes and provide change management expertise.
Originally from New Zealand, Corich trained as a commercial pilot and flight instructor before starting-up her own business.
She has been inducted into the New Zealand Hi-tech Hall of Fame and been awarded two Ernst & Young the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. She was named UK New Zealander of the Year in 2015.
The Civil Aviation Authority has also announced that two existing non-executive directors, Dr David King and Graham Ward, will both serve a third term. They were both appointed to the Board in 2013 and their extensions are for two years.
