Cabin upgrades and extra commission from NCL
Norwegian Cruise Line is marking the debut of a new ship by offering cabin upgrades in an early booking promotion.
The line is also giving an addition one per cent commission on all bookings made through Amadeus Cruise by the end of February.
An up to seven category cabin upgrade is available on all sailings on new vessel Pride of Hawaii sold during the line’s two-month ‘Sale of all Sails’ new year campaign.
The offer means that guests making a booking on the ship could book an inside cabin and move to one with an oceanview at no extra charge.
Pride of Hawaii, to be delivered in April, is sister ship to Norwegian Jewel, launched in 2005 and is the third ship to offer Hawaii cruises under the NCL America brand.
UK general manager Francis Riley said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to push NCL’s unique Hawaiian product – sailing exclusively in the Hawaiian Islands, without having to leave Hawaiian waters”
The promotion offers incentives on all bookings, with an up to four category cabin upgrade on all sailings fleet-wide and up to $350 on-board credit depending on the cabin booked.
Referring to the Amadeus Cruise incentive, Riley said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for travel agents to earn extra revenue for their agency during this key booking period.
“All we ask the trade to do is try it and see how easy it is. Of course we will still continue our extensive phone support, but the immediacy of Amadeus will impress your customers even more.”
