Cachet Hotel Group launching new midscale brand in China

Sunday, 02 Mar, 2016 0
Cachet Hotel Group has announced an agreement with Qingdao Izunco Inn Investment Company to introduce a new midscale brand in Mainland China.

The SAVANT Hotel by Cachet lifestyle orientated brand will be introduced across China with plans for up to 200 managed and franchised hotels in city, airport and suburban locations.

The company says it could ultimately become its biggest brand.

Cachet says all SAVANT hotels will be carbon neutral, comprising prefabricated rooms assembled offsite, typically reducing construction and labour resources by at least 50%.

Hotels will feature mobile technological platforms, a Cardio Zone fitness centre, an interactive Scholar Bar and each will be powered by energy efficient solar panels.

"We are witnessing a fundamental shift in Chinese real estate as developers are looking to build boutique and midscale hotels that can address the growing demand for a higher quality of domestic tourism. The emerging midscale lifestyle segment is poised to capture spending from the burgeoning middle class who are looking for modern design and at an affordable price," said Alexander Mirza, CEO of Cachet Hotel Group.
