Calling all those in love: Sandals wants your story

Now, you didn’t think Travelmole was going to let the most romantic week of the year pass by without injecting a little bit of love onto the site, did you?
With that in mind, the Mole would like to flag up a new competition launched yesterday by those soppy fools Sandals to find The Greatest Love Story.
The company is inviting couples to upload a video of their personal love story onto www.sandals.co.uk/greatestlovestory between now and the autumn. Every month for six months a panel will pick what they think is the most touching tale.
The public will also be invited to vote for their favourite video, creating a seventh finalist couple.
And the pair whose tale of love and romance is judged to be the most compelling will win an eight-day Luxury Included holiday to Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica where they will attend the company’s 30th birthday celebrations.
Montego Bay was the company’s first resort when it launched 30 years ago.
The prize includes a stay at the butler-serviced Love Nest Suites, private luxury airport transfers and a Sandals Wedding by Martha Stewart or vow renewal ceremony (although presumably this is not mandatory).
There will also be a host of other extras thrown in including a catamaran cruise and a couples’ massage.
The winning couple will be announced on October 15 and the six remaining finalists will win a four-day/three-night Luxury Included holiday for two to any Sandals Resort, located in Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Antigua, and the Bahamas.
Go for it.
