De Vere group’s Cameron House hotel has been named as the best hotel in the UK by the Catey Awards – the hospitality equivalent of the Oscars.
The Loch Lomond hotel had a £50,000 refurb last year and has 128 bedrooms with 115 lodges, a spa, PGA championship golf course, a marina and a Michelin-starred restaurant overseen by celeb chef Martin Wisharts.
Managing director Stephen Carter said: “This award is really the jewel in the crown, and a testament to the hard work of everyone who works at Cameron House who go the extra mile to ensure our guests receive the best in Scottish hospitality.”
