Canada airport in lockdown after musical instrument mistaken for rifle
Calgary International Airport in Canada was closed after a musical instrument was mistaken for a rifle, sparking a hunt for a gunman.
Police placed the airport on lockdown and passengers were evacuated yesterday, while at the other side of the Atlantic passengers in the UK were stranded at Gatwick which was closed due to multiple drone sightings.
However, officers later confirmed there was no active gunman inside the airport and said the suspected rifle was believed to be a musical instrument.
It was not immediately clear which musical instrument caused the chaos.
