Canada says no to ditching masks on flights
Canada won’t join the US in lifting the mask mandate for air travel and other public transportation. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canada has no intention of easing mask rules now.
It will continue following scientific advice and ‘whenever the advice that we receive changes, we will change our regulation,’ Trudeau said.
Canadian requires all travellers to wear masks inside airports and terminals and on planes and trains.
