Canadian Travel offers Polar Bear Tours
The Great Canadian Travel Company is offering a selection of six and seven-day tours this fall to the Manitoba coast of Hudson Bay. The operator also features a four-day overnight program and a three-day Day Tripper package. The five-night Polar Bear Adventure features departures that coincide with the peak migration season.
This program includes accommodations, round-trip airfare between Winnipeg and Churchill, two Tundra Buggy tours, tour of Churchill, breakfast daily, two lunches and two dinners. This tour is escorted by a naturalist guide. Departures are scheduled for Oct. 9, 13, 17 and Nov. 6.
The six-night Polar Bear Experience is comparable to the Polar Bear Adventure, but provides an extra day and night in Churchill. The departures are on Oct. 16, 19, 31 and Nov. 2. The two-night Day Tripper provides two nights’ accommodations in Winnipeg, round-trip airfare between Winnipeg and Churchill, a full day excursion tracking bears in the tundra buggy, and lunch and dinner in Churchill (with two breakfasts also provided).
The departures are on Oct. 19, 26 and Nov. 2. The three-night Polar Bear Overnighter program is similar to the Day Tripper but offering an overnight stay in Churchill as well as a full day on the tundra tracking polar bears. The departures are on Oct. 12, 26 and Nov. 1.
