Virtual ship visits across three vessels in the Carnival UK portfolio are going online for agents.
Umbrella sales organisation Complete Cruise Solution is to carry the web-based tours of P&O Cruises’ Ventura, Crown Princess and Queen Mary 2.
Additional vessels will be available in the coming months via www.completecruisesolution.com.
The virtual visits are designed to give an in-depth exploration of public rooms and cabins, offering agents the chance to get to know each ship section by section without actually stepping on board.
Carnival UK sales and customer services director Giles Hawke said: “This development is our latest step in offering a comprehensive online training and support programme for agents.
“The virtual visits give an unbiased view of our ships so that agents can see exactly what our brands have to offer. It will be a fantastic online resource for all agents, and one that they can come back to time and time again, every time their memory needs refreshing!”
The www.completecruisesolution.com website has more than 15,000 agents registered.
The site offers a complete online booking service, along with e-ticketing, downloadable marketing material, and the Waves of Wisdom trade training programme featuring experts-only ‘Club Lounge’ area where photos and comments can be shared with other agents.
