Capella Hotel Group introducing new brand
Capella Hotel Group has unveiled a new brand – Patina Hotels & Resorts.
Described as ‘dynamic and modern’ by the company, Patina will debut in the Maldives in late 2020.
Two further properties are earmarked for tourism hotspots Ubud, Bali and Sanya, China.
"Patina Hotels & Resorts will become a new leader in progressive hospitality. We look forward to bringing the Patina vision to life when we open Patina Maldives later this year," said Nicholas Clayton, CEO of Capella Hotel Group.
Patina Maldives will open in Q4 2020, and is being designed by celebrated Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan.
It forms part of the newly developed Fari Islands in the North Atoll of Maldives.
The resort will offer 90 beach and water villas, from one to three bedrooms, as well as 20 Fari Studios.
Developed by Singapore based Pontiac Land, the Fari Islands is also home to a new hotel from sister brand Capella Hotels & Resorts.
The Fari Islands will include a beach club, boutiques and upscale food and beverage venues.
