Caravan Club improves online booking
The Caravan Club has improved online booking for UK sites as part of an relaunch of its website.
The www.caravanclub.co.uk site now includes a search from the home page and ability to search by date.
The caravanning and motor caravanning website offers 360-degree pictures of Club sites with improved and streamlined navigation.
The revamp comes prior to the organisation’s Centenary next year and is designed to reflect the changing needs of members when booking caravan sites and services.
The new look follows months reviewing feedback from members about the website. Focus groups were also held to gather comments about what would be needed to improve it.
The Club’s head of e-commerce Natasha Shane said: “We have created a quality website to reflect our reputation. We are confident that website visitors will find browsing www.caravanclub.co.uk to be a pleasure and an easy experience.
“This website has a whole range of content, from generic caravanning and motor caravanning advice and the ability to book a UK pitch, or even a complete ferry, insurance and overseas pitch holiday package.
“Members can also renew their membership online and link to Online Trader, and non-members can join online.”
The Caravan Club represents the interests of nearly one million caravanners, motor caravanners and trailer tenters. Club sites provide 18 million bed nights a year.
