Carnival Cruise Line adding another ship at Tampa

Carnival Cruise Line is adding a second ship to Port Tampa Bay from early 2018.
 
Carnival Miracle will begin week-long year round cruises from Tampa on January 27, 2018, with calls at Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Roatan and Belize City.
 
The 2,124-passenger Miracle joins the 2,052-passenger Carnival Paradise which is the only other ship offering year round service out of Tampa on four and five-day Caribbean sailings.
 
Meanwhile the 3,000-passenger Splendor will replace the Carnival Miracle at Long Beach.
 
The Splendor will become Carnival’s first ship to sail through the new expanded locks of the Panama Canal. 
 
It will sail on a repositioning 13-day voyage from Miami to Long Beach on January 14, 2018 calling at Cartagena, Colombia, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala and Cabo San Lucas
