Carnival Cruise Line announces biggest ever Bermuda season
Carnival Cruise Line will embark on its biggest ever season in Bermuda for 2019-2020.
It is committing six different ships – Carnival Breeze, Magic, Pride, Radiance, Sunshine and Sunrise – to calls from five eastern seaboard homeports.
It includes eight week-long cruises from Baltimore and Charleston next year.
In total there will be more than 40 voyages visiting Bermuda during the season.
Carnival is the only cruise operator offering round-trip Bermuda cruises out of Charleston, Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale.
Carnival has added nine-day Bermuda departures from New York on Carnival Sunrise and Carnival Radiance, which also sail four-day Bermuda cruises.
Guest feedback on the Bermuda program has been ‘sensational’ said Fred Stein, Carnival’s vice president of revenue planning and deployment.
"We’re delighted to expand our offerings," Stein said.
Carnival Pride will spend three days in Bermuda during the seven week-long cruises from Baltimore, and a seven-day cruise from Charleston aboard Carnival Sunshine will have two days on the island, as well as a call to the private Bahamian destination of Princess Cays.
