Carnival Cruise Line rolls out new agent rewards program
Carnival Cruise Line has revamped its agent incentive scheme with a new ‘Loyalty Rocks!’ rewards program.
Up for grabs is a daily draw for 1,000 rewards points through July 18.
It kicks off the program with a month-long Booking Challenge where all bookings eligible for rewards points have the chance to win a main prize of 20,000 rewards points at a monetary value of $1,000 in gift cards.
"While our previous program was extremely successful, we felt it was time for a redesign, so we asked travel agents what they want in a rewards program and from there we developed ‘Loyalty Rocks!,’"’ SVP of sales & trade marketing, Adolfo Perez said.
"The rewards program is focused at the agent level, recognizing the individual agents and all that they do for Carnival Cruise Line in a more impactful way."
Every booking made by an agent will earn from five to 50 points.
All staterooms in a booking will now earn points, with more points for higher stateroom categories and longer cruises.
A simplified interface allows agents to track earned points more easily and it uses the same ID credentials agents use at GoCCL.com.
Gift cards can be redeemed for items such as electronics, movies and gift baskets.
Full details of the new program can be found on the ‘Agents Rewards’ page at GoCCL.com.
It succeeds the previous agent rewards program which ended in March.
