Carnival makes Mexico return
Carnival Cruise Lines is to return to Mexico after travel advisories against non-essential travel to the country were lifted.
The US company plans to resume stops at Mexican ports once itineraries which were altered away from the country due to swine flu are completed.
Most itineraries were modified until mid-June with the exception of the ship Holiday which was altered until late May, the company said.
A ship-by-ship guide of dates when each vessel will resume its original itinerary has been made available via the line’s website at www.carnival.com .
Carnival CEO and president Gerry Cahill said: “We are very pleased to resume our previous itineraries to Mexico, one of the cruise industry’s most popular destinations.”
