Carnival targets impulsive cruisers
Carnival Cruise Lines has unwrapped a fare programme for agents booking clients on last minute getaways.
Pack ‘N’ Go fares have limited availability on selected sailings. They are likely to appeal to clients with flexible travel plans who are looking for a cheap deal.
Carnival’s First-In fares are available as an alternative option.
"The new Pack ‘N’ Go fares offer the chance to be impulsive by taking a fun cruise holiday at short notice," said Jennifer Vandekreeke, director of Carnival Cruise Lines Australia and New Zealand.
Pack ‘N’ Go fares start at A$650 for a 10-day Pacific Island cruise departing April 29, 2013, compared to A$940 at the First-In rate.
Available on select cruises until sold out, the Pack ‘N’ Go fares will be for new bookings only, and come with more restrictive terms and conditions.
