Carnival Valor reroutes to Mobile ahead of tropical storm
Due to a hurricane alert for parts of Louisiana, Carnival Valor’s current sailing will skip disembarkation at the port of New Orleans and instead head to Mobile. Alabama.
It will now dock in Mobile on Thursday and guests will be transported by bus back to New Orleans.
For the following cruise guests are requested to arrive in New Orleans as planned and will be taken by bus to Mobile to embark the ship.
The Valor sails year-round out of New Orleans to Cozumel and Progresso, Mexico.
The National Hurricane Center expects Tropical Storm Barry to reach hurricane strength and make landfall on Saturday on the Louisiana coast.
The line has not yet announced any revisions to its current Carnival Freedom sailing which is scheduled to return to New Orleans on Sunday.
