Thursday, 09 Jan, 2019 0

Macau casino group Galaxy Entertainment is warning guests not to be taken in by a new resort in Vietnam it claims is copying its trademark.

Galaxy is investigating a new resort launching on Cam Ranh Bay, Nha Trang, which is marketing itself as ‘Nha Trang Galaxy’s.’

It is using a similar logo and advertisements bear GEG’s Chinese name.

Galaxy is advising customers not to be misled into thinking it is the same company.

It said it will likely take legal action.

"We want to clarify that GEG does not operate any hotel or resort in Vietnam nor does GEG have any association with any of the existing hotels or resorts in Vietnam. GEG is investigating the matter in respect of the unauthorised use of the Galaxy brand," it said.
