SYDNEY – MyBentours is offering a saving of 10 percent on Gota Canal cruises for bookings made by March 1 next year,
The cruise follows Sweden’s Gothenburg Canal trade route between Gothenburg and Stockholm aboard a classic 19th century canal boat.
The boat moves at just five knots per hour past a landscape of medieval monasteries, churches, castles and villages.
Prices for the 4-day cruise start from $1900 twin share and include all meals, shore excursions and sightseeing (there are six cultural stops during the cruise).
The six-day cruise is priced from $3000 twin share and includes 11 cultural stops.
A 10 percent early bird saving is valid on all new bookings, for all departures between May-Sept 2010, when booked and paid in full by March 1 next year.
Viking River Cruises has also released early birds specials for its ‘Waterways of the Czars’ cruise where for 13 days passengers discover Russia and its heartland.
MyBentours early bookers save $1500 per person and receive complimentary wine on ‘Waterways of the Czars’ cruise when booked and paid in full by December 18, 2009.
Priced from $4640pp, departures between Moscow-St Petersburg or v.v are from May-October next year aboard the Viking Peterhof, Viking Pakhomov, Viking Kirov or Viking Surkov.
Also offering a $1500pp early bird saving is the 11 or 12-day ‘Footsteps of the Cossacks’ cruise between Kiev-Odessa or v.v along the Dnieper River. The ‘Footsteps of the Cossacks’ cruise is priced from $3560pp.
