Cathay appoints new UK sales head
Cathay Pacific has appointed of Adrian Bastow as head of sales and Mmarketing for the UK and Ireland.
Bastow previously worked as EMEIA marketing director at Travelport and has held a number of senior roles at other companies including Intermec and Acer.
"Cathay Pacific is known for delivering exceptional customer experience, and despite challenging market conditions over the last few years, I have long admired the airline for not compromising when it comes to delivering the best service possible and truly listening to its customers to ensure that its products evolve to meet their needs," he said.
"I am particularly excited to be joining the Cathay Pacific team as we prepare to add a second route between the UK and Hong Kong later this year with the addition of Manchester.
"I am also looking forward to making my own personal contribution to ensure the airline grows its customer base further here in the UK and Ireland."
