Cathay heads for Manchester
Cathay Pacific will launch a four-times-weekly service to Manchester from December.
Manchester International Airport is ranked third in the UK, after Heathrow and Gatwick, in terms of passenger throughput.
The Manchester service will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, offering Cathay’s new cabin products, including Business, Premium Economy and the new Economy Class seats.
Flights will depart from Hong Kong to Manchester every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Departures from Manchester are also on these days.
The new service, which will launch on December 8, is subject to government approval. Tickets are now on sale.
