Cathay Pacific preps for start of long-delayed HK-Singapore travel bubble
Cathay Pacific and gearing up for a surge in passenger traffic to Singapore after the long awaited two-way, quarantine-free air travel bubble was finally announced for 26 May.
Flights will be operated by Cathay Pacific pilots and cabin crew who have all been fully vaccinated.
Cathay Pacific’s air travel bubble flights will be operated by fuel-efficient Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
The inaugural flight from Hong Kong will depart on 26 May, with the first flight from Singapore departing the following day
From10 June, Cathay Pacific will operate daily return air travel bubble flights (CX759 and CX734) to Singapore.

The airline also introduced Cathay Care, with enhanced health measures from check-in to the cabin.
In addition to the Hong Kong-Singapore air travel bubble the Return2hk Scheme has recently been expanded.
This enables Hong Kong residents arriving from anywhere in the Chinese mainland to enter the city without the need to undergo quarantine.
Cathay Pacific currently operates flights between Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xiamen and Hong Kong already and plans to add more routes in the coming months
