Caymans latest for Global Travel Market
Global Travel Market has chosen the Cayman Islands for its latest destination-specific meta-search site.
The site at www.caymanislandstravelmarket.com allows users to research flights, accommodation, car hire insurance and then click through to book direct with the chosen supplier.
Chief executive Dave Simmons said: “Targeted meta-search engines are proving to be the most effective way of promoting a destination online.
“Through the sites we are able to offer access to everything our customers need for a trip abroad while proving to be a cost effective distribution channel for suppliers with product to offer in the chosen country.”
Cayman Islands Department of Tourism regional manager Europe Donald McDougall said: “This is the ultimate tailor-made booking engine and I am delighted to be the first Caribbean destination to embrace the technology and make it available to our customers and colleagues in the industry.
“In 19 years of destination marketing, I have not come across a better solution for national tourism office marketing and resultant destination bookings.”
