Cebu Pacific adds payment option with PayRemit partnership
Budget carrier Cebu Pacific has expanded payment options for flight bookings.
The latest partnership with PayRemit allows customers without credit or debit cards to pay in person with cash over-the-counter at one of PayRemit’s offices.
Customers can book flights via the website or mobile, and armed with a special confirmation code, make cash payments at offices across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Canada.
"PayRemit allows our customers the opportunity to book year-round low fares on Cebu Pacific, and pay for these through a convenient and hassle-free payment portal. Our Filipino expatriates, in particular, will now have more flexibility to book and buy flights," said Candice Iyog, Vice President for Marketing of Cebu Pacific.
The Ventaja International Corp owned PayRemit has a presence in 26 countries with more than 500 partner agent locations, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and the UAE.
"The ability of our customers to pay for tickets through PayRemit widens their options to search for the lowest fares and secure their bookings. It makes it easier for them to pay at accredited remittance centres. With this alliance, we expect that more of our customers will benefit from the low fares Cebu Pacific offers," said Mix Acuros, area manager for Asia at Ventaja.
