Celebrity Cruises launching tiered inclusive pricing
Celebrity Cruises is set to roll out a new pricing model which will include a tiered choice of all-inclusive amenities.
From July 6, guests can book cruises which feature added inclusive amenities including free Internet, pre-paid gratuities, a $150 spending credit or beverage package.
Available for most cabin categories, there is a choice of three tiers: ‘Go Big’ offers one amenity, ‘Go Bigger’ guests can choose any two, while ‘Go Best’ gets all four added extras.
The new pricing structure will be a permanent feature and was designed for guest to customize their cruise simply, said Celebrity senior vice president for sales Dondra Ritzenthaler.
It will be available on all categories except inside cabins and on Celebrity Xpedition sailings which are already all-inclusive.
It will also likely appeal to the travel trade with new, higher commissionable rates for agents.
The new pricing model goes on sale from July 6 for cruises beginning in October.
