Celebrity Edge begins third Australia season
Celebrity Edge is officially back down under.
It has kicked off a third Australia season visiting destinations in New Zealand, and the South Pacific, following a 19-night transpacific sailing from Honolulu.
The ship will offer sailings through April 2026.
It has 17 sailings departing from Sydney and Auckland with itineraries ranging from short four-night to 14-night journeys.
Celebrity Edge departed on an 11-night sailing to explore the Great Barrier Reef.
“Celebrity Edge has been a game changer for the cruise industry,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises.
“Sailings on Celebrity Edge are much more than just a holiday, and we’re thrilled to welcome her back to these waters for a third season.”
This season, Celebrity Cruises is providing greater access to New Zealand with seven of its 17 itineraries dedicated to exploring the country.
A 13-night Holiday Cruise is a highlight, offering a festive season visit to New Zealand’s fjords, including Milford, Doubtful, and Dusky Sounds, along with seven port stops across the North and South Islands.
Additionally, guests can book a nine-night Australia Wine Journey along the eastern and southern coasts, exploring vineyards throughout Hobart, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, and Melbourne.
The 2025/26 season also introduces 54 new shore excursions.
Among these highlights is a brand-new selection of experiences in Newcastle, where Celebrity Edge will make its first-ever port call this December.
Celebrity Edge features 29 bars, restaurants, and lounges and the signature Magic Carpet cantilevered, floating platform.
In a first, Celebrity Solstice will arrive in port tomorrow, marking Celebrity Cruises’ first consecutive port days in Sydney Harbour.
Celebrity Solstice will return to Australia and New Zealand next season, offering a range of itineraries including a 13-night Best of New Zealand cruise, 10-night Australia Wine voyage, and a 12-night South Pacific adventure.
