Changes at Best Western
Best Western Australia today announced management changes including the appointment of Rob Anderson as Executive Director following the resignation of Rodger Powell, who has been chief executive.
“We are very pleased long standing director and vice president, Rob Anderson, will be taking on an interim role as Executive Director to work with Deputy CEO Michael Kerr and the senior team,” BWA Chairman, Gabrielle Trainor, said today.
“We also welcome Trent Fraser who joins Best Western as Brand Expansion Manager. Until recently, Trent was a brand executive with Choice Hotels Australasia. We are sure he will be an asset to our senior team.
“Rebecca Schouten has been promoted to become Senior Manager, Finance. Paul Richardson, who was General Manager, Finance and Administration, is moving to another operational position in the hotel industry.
“We wish Rodger Powell well after his five years as CEO. We will be conducting a search to fill his position. In the meantime, Rob and Michael will continue our strong focus on delivering results to our properties and their customers.
