Cheetham quits Holidaybreak
Matthew Cheetham, head of Holidaybreak’s camping division, has quit his role and resigned from the board.
He is replaced as the managing director of the camping arm by its former operations director Steven Whitfield.
Cheetham joined the company in January 2004 from MyTravel where he was responsible for its Specialist Holidays Division.
Holidaybreak CEO Carl Michel said: “Matt has done a great job over the last couple of years reorganising our camping business and restoring its fortunes.
“With this job done, he feels its time to seek out a new challenge. He leaves with our thanks and best wishes for the future.
“Steven has over 20 years experience of working in the camping division and is a well-known industry figure. He is the ideal person to take camping to the next stage of its development.”
