Cruising is an increasingly popular option for families being the ideal combination of onboard entertainment with the fun of discovering faraway places  on shore excursions.

With MSC Cruises, there is a third benefit for families with the offer of free places for under 18s year-round when sharing a cabin with two full-paying adults.

Whatever the ages of the children, there are special clubs catering for their needs – a Mini-Club for the 3-9- year-olds, Junior Club for the 9 -13s and Teenagers Club for the 13 – 18s.

Admission to children’s clubs is free and MSC’s experienced staff are on hand to arrange daytime activity programmes including sports tournaments, treasure hunts and pool games.  In addition, all of MSC Cruises fleet of eight ships have entertainment facilities, plus lots of sports and leisure facilities for all the family.

As an example of prices, two adults and two children sharing a four-bedded inside cabin on a seven-night Mediterranean cruise on board MSC Melody from July 23 will pay a total of €1734 with full-board accommodation and port taxes.  Flights are not included but can be arranged on request.

Ports of call on this cruise which begins and ends in Barcelona are Ibiza, Tunis, Messina (Sicily), Naples, Livorno and St Tropez. For further information call 0870 850 4883, or visit http://www.msccruises.co.uk/
