China F1 Grand Prix called off

China’s return to the Formula 1 racing calendar will be delayed at least another year.
It was due to return in 2023 but is now postponed because of China’s Covid-zero policy.
Formula 1 was last held in China in 2019.
The BBC says the issue is China’s insistence that F1 staff won’t be given exemptions from quarantine if contracting Covid-19.
The race was due to take place in Shanghai in April 2023.
