Choice Hotels announces leadership changes

Choice Hotels International has tweaked its senior management team with a couple of promotions, while it announced chief financial officer David White will step down next month.
 
White is leaving to pursue other opportunities and part of the role will transition to newly appointed senior vice president, finance and chief accounting officer, Scott Oaksmith.
 
"I am extremely confident in Scott’s ability to lead the finance organization until a new CFO is appointed," said Choice CEO Stephen Joyce
 
Choice Hotels said it hired Spencer Stuart to start an executive search for a permanent CFO replacement.
 
Meanwhile chief operating officer Patrick Pacious has added president to his job title and will involve an expanded role in operational and strategic leadership.
 
Pacious has spent 10 years with the company and has proven to be ‘an exceptional leader,’ said Joyce.
 
Paciousis a former US Naval officer
 
"His innovative thinking and vision will continue to enhance the strategic direction, growth and profitability of our company," Joyce added.
