CityJet boasts 50 second check-in
CityJet has launched a self tag bag system reducing check-in to 50 seconds.
With the Sonic ‘phase 5’ Self Bag Tag system at London City Airport, passengers weigh their bags and use their boarding pass at the Self Bag Tag kiosk to generate a label.
CityJet passengers will then be directed to the designated bag drop zone where they can transfer the luggage themselves.
Christine Ourmières, CEO CityJet said: "We’re constantly looking at ways to invest in technology in order to improve our passenger service, and this new bag-tagging system genuinely simplifies and speeds up the check-in process for our customers."
"Our customers travel with us because we offer a fast and reliable service – cutting minutes off check in time may not seem like much, but it matters to our passengers who demand a speedy service."
