CLIA’s Masters Program returns in an online format

Tuesday, 21 Apr, 2021 0

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia is bringing back its Masters Program in a virtual format.

An annual happening that usually takes place on-board in a conference format, the Masters Program will become a six-week online course offered twice a year.

It is open to CLIA member agents who have reached Ambassador status, and provides an opportunity to attain CLIA Cruise Masters status, which is the highest qualification for CLIA cruise specialists.

"The format and content have taken a direction to reflect our times, but the objective remains the same – to give agents the ability to develop new revenue streams and create a unique brand differentiation," said CLIA Head of Training & Development Peter Kollar.

It will also offer new content including training on data, technology and the evolving online retail environment.

Other aspects of the program include digital and neuromarketing tips, business strategy and planning skills.

It comes with a 100-page interactive workbook as well as weekly content, weekly tasks to complete, and weekly virtual meetings and reviews.

The CLIA Masters Program will be offered from 7 June and again from 20 September 2021.

After completing the Masters course and assignment, agents will receive 100 accreditation points and enter the CLIA Cruise Masters ranks.

This comes with professional perks including a higher search ranking on the CLIA Australasia website.
